Review: The Girl with the Dragon Tatoo

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (Millennium, #1)The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo by Stieg Larsson
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I feel like I rate way too many books with four stars, but the reality is that I did quite enjoy this book. It’s obviously not literary brilliance, but it was a good story, a fun mystery and certainly a page turner (especially toward the end).

I’d recommend this to anyone really, even those of my friends that aren’t “readers.” This is a great “vacation book,” in two ways. It’s great light reading to bring along on a vacation, but it’s also a good break from heavier reading (if that’s your norm). Enjoy!

  1. Hey Sean! My dad LOVED this series. Matt read the first book too! Debating whether or not I should read it…the movie looks so creeps!!!

    • It definitely has somewhat startling moments and it’s an intense story, but I’d recommend it. When it comes down to it, it’s a great, suspenseful mystery. I’m looking forward to the movie :)
